| Note: The individual tested should select one puppet only, which is sympathetic (Yang) and one, which is antipathetic (Yin). He should do this spontaneously without considering and reconsidering in order to be more "purely emotional" just like choosing a partner. If he is becoming unsure, tell him not to go "berserk ", instead "to Stick to his bush", meaning to say at his first choice, because the first choice is the best choice. With neurotic and psychotic individual, there is difficulty in concentrating on the "right choice". With the neurotic it is easier to select the "negative choice", whereas with the psychotic usually it is easier to select the "positive choice". If he is unable to choose the positive choice spontaneously, he is a candidate of neurosis. And if he is not able to choose the negative choice spontaneously, he is a candidate of psychosis. With "borderliner", usually he has problems with both choices. However, a rigid rule should not be made. Instead, a psychodynamic flexibility should be the image of BEST evaluation. |
